helping people affected by injury, illness or disability through education, hands on manual techniques and exercise therapy

WHAT TO EXPECT

G

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

Your initial assessment will include your therapist listening to your story and enquiring about the symptoms you are experiencing, including how this impacts your daily living and regular activities.

G

Physical Assessment

The physical assessment provides a baseline measurement of your movement patterns, range of movement and muscle strength.

You will then be given a diagnosis and treatment plan, including advice on how long your symptoms are likely to take to improve and how often you need to see your therapist to recover and achieve your goals.

G

TREATMENT

During the session your therapist will use manual techniques to help reduce and manage your symptoms.

Within a course of treatment you will experience a combination of goal setting, symptom management and exercise rehabilitation to fit your diagnosis. This will help to maximize the effectiveness of your treatment.
